Heels and Sunkissed Curls was started with with one word in mind: Style. There are few things as complex or all-encompassing as style. It’s everywhere. The individual styles of fashion, photography, and design are just a few topics Heels and Sunkissed curls attempts to delve into. All in all, style is a lifestyle and we’d just like to share our point of view.
The funny thing about style is that it means something different for everyone; particularly two twenty-something sisters from Madison, Wisconsin. Enter Heels, a current resident of The Twin Cities, and Sunkissed Curls, the creator of this blog who left the Midwest and followed her dreams to San Francisco. Their goal is to inspire readers to find their own style, and learn what it means to them.
Chelsea (a.k.a Sunkissed Curls), the older sister, is a graphic designer and photographer by day, and blogger, stylist and addicted online shopper by night. She gravitates towards vintage inspiration, with a hint of structure and an air of whimsy. She is a sucker for a DIY project and anything to do with chocolate and champagne.
Abby (a.k.a. Heels), the younger more practical of the two, is a student focusing her time on retail marketing, brand development, styling and social media. Her quick wit and zest for life are often reflected in her feminine yet slightly edgy trendsetting style. There’s not much this girl doesn’t love about clothes, shoes and comedic relief.
The two are complete opposites, yet tied at the hip in their love for all things fashionable (both affordable and not so much… ), fabulous and hilariously funny. They can’t wait to share it all with you on this little blog!
