Yellow has never really been a color I've warn. Ever since I was little I always felt it washed me out, but when it comes to a color as blindingly bright as a yellow highlighter, how could that be?!
These days there are a few yellow tones that have entered my closet and made it into permanent weekly rotation; mustard, neon yellow, and several golden hues. With neon yellow, I've found it helps to balance the bright color out with a few basic tones... plus you avoid looking as if you've been attacked by the 90's.
I also have to mention just how much I LOVE my new Stylemint purchase and I can't believe I've held out for such a long time! The fabric is amazingly soft and I love the print of this dress (turned skirt) even more than the online picture. If you've never heard of Stylemint I'd highly recommend it and you can register here.
