DIY: Studded Cardigan

I LOVE small little details on clothing; details that make a piece unique and add a little extra something special. So, when I saw this studded cardigan from French Connection last week, my creative side kicked in a told me I needed one of my very own, with a little twist of course...

 I started with a plain blue cardigan and a variety of different studs.

I love when a piece of clothing surprises me, especially from the back! I chose to go for an element of surprise in the design on the back of the cardigan and add subtle details to the pockets on the front. To avoid a "bedazzled" look I tried to limit the number of places I added the studs. Simplicity is key!

I'm in love with the end result and think I've created my new favorite sweater!
