Distractions are inevitable, procrastination probable, but the silver lining is that creativity is usually sparked at the onset of the two. After watching this short film, and briefly laughing at it's irony, my immediate response was to share it with everyone that "suffers" from the inevitable distractions in life.

Now, I know I'm not the only one who saw them self at least a little in Miranda July's performance, and if you watched the film, I have just successfully distracted you. Sorry about that, but I'm optimistically hopeful that it sparked your productive side.
After the 3 minute distraction, I thought about all of the posts that have gathered up over the past month, they've collected some dust, and gone unshared... and I decided it's time.
Now this isn't to say that I haven't been extremely busy, because I have... pull my hair out, crazy busy is more like it. But enough with the excuses, the point is that I have been neglecting the few things that I am most passionate about, i.e, my creative outlets. And let's face it, that's never a good idea. So without further a due, I welcome you back to what I can only hope is a regularly updated Heels & Sunkissed Curls.
I must first take a moment to thank you all for following, allowing me with the honor to distract you, and hope that just maybe you walk away inspired.
Cheers to a New Year, everyone!
