I'm not sure if the word busy can even begin to describe my life for the last few weeks. I have been in non-stop motion, and loving every minute of it!
Last week I attended the one year birthday bash for
Chloe Rose Boutique on Union Street. The store was packed from beginning to end with fashionable ladies from the bay area socializing and enjoying a fun Thursday evening in the city.
On Monday evening I joined in the fun once again at the one year anniversary for
Rue Magazine at
H.D Buttercup
in SOMA. First, I must mention that H.D Buttercup is probably my new
favorite design store! It fully exceeded my (fairly high) expectations
for amazingly designed, unique yet classic furnishings with a vintage
twist; I will definitely be back!
Second, I have to say
that I LOVE Rue magazine; fashion, design, great entertaining tips,
what's not to love! A big congratulations to both Chloe Rose and Rue
Magazine on your one year celebrations and much success to come; I'm
already looking forward to next year!
On a similar note, I must spread the word about
Curry Up Now,
an AMAZING Indian street food truck in the city! They catered the event
for the Rue Magazine party and the food was incredible! They sold me on
the chicken tikka masala over sweet potato fries, and I'll admit I
would scour the city for this food truck for more of this dish... but
the best part is, I don't have to. Check out their locations and time
here to find out where to get their delish creations!
Being new to the blogging world, I have really enjoyed attending
events such as this, and meeting other bloggers, photographers,
designers and the like. It's been a great way to increase my knowledge
of the blogosphere and meet some extremely talented and creative new
people!
